Last summer, the Aragon Government had chosen Aerodata International Surveys to be the supplier for cost-effective acquisition, production and prompt delivery of high resolution aerial images. The results were to be used to update the existing database in Comarca de Monegros, Aragon.

Taking full advantage of a nice weather period, Aerodata managed to complete the acquisition of 5.000 digital aerial images over an area of over 2.800 sq km at 14cm GSD in only three flying days.

Using one of the digital Vexcel UltraCam-X cameras in combination with ancillary equipment resulted in an output almost twice as good as the project specification required, exceeding customer expectations.
