French cities available - April update

Aerodata is pleased to announce this month’s and third update for newly available French city datasets.


The cities now also available (at 12,5cm GSD) to the public are:

  • Angers, an ancient pre-Roman times city that calls itself the "most flowered city in Europe"
  • Bordeaux, considered the world’s wine capital boasting famous Château’s like Lafite-Rothschild, Margaux, Latour, Haut-Brion and Mouton-Rothschild. The city is a beloved tourist destination and has many museums and palaces to visit
  • Bourges, home to the Gothic Cathedral of Saint Etienne, which is on UNSECO’s World Heritage List
  • Clermont-Ferrand, ranking among France’s oldest cities and famous for the chain of volcanoes surrounding it and home to tire maker Michelin
  • Perpignan, France’s most southern major city and close to the Pyrenees and the Spanish border, is located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region and was known for its wine and olive oil economy.

As with all other Aerodata data sets, the end product will be included in the aeroGRID® archives, and will be made available for any interested party both online and offline.
