During the summer of 2006 Aerodata Int. Surveys executed numerous LIDAR survey missions for the 'Bas Rhin' project near Strasbourg (France) in order to obtain a digital elevation model with a point density in the final product of 1 point /sq meter. The final product was completed in the fall of 2006.

The missions were carried out in the framework of a hydrological survey in the area. Part of the project was also to produce a classification from the data into different land use classes like buildings, roads, vegetation etc.
