On September 6th, 2005 Aerodata Int. Surveys successfully completed the aerial data acquisition of the German state of Sachsen (Saxony) with the Vexcel UltraCam-D large format digital frame camera.

Aerodata managed to complete the acquisition of the digital imagery over an area of over 12.000 sq. km at 20 cm ground resolution in only a few weeks time. Although the weather situation was sometimes difficult, Aerodata managed to use every opportunity to achieve this result.

The total number of 17.760 original images was quality checked and each of them was processed into colour, colour-infrared and black & white. The processing and delivery of those 50.000+ images has been executed over the last few weeks with a final delivery in just 6 weeks after completion of the surveys missions.
