aeroGRID® is Aerodata
Surveys’ extensive
archive of aerial imagery and derived products which was introduced
in 2003 following a limited, but growing demand for current and high
resolution aerial imagery.
As the demand is ever-increasing, Aerodata keeps
updating aeroGRID® to
ensure it complies with the market demands of quality, currency and
resolution.

Wide-spread home and business use of high-speed internet enables aeroGRID® to
bring various services to the web enabling people and business
to get what they want and when they want it.
aeroGRID® Go!
and Pro services offer interested parties off-the-shelf aerial
photography in the easiest, fastest and most economical way.
The archive holds high quality aerial photography of various
kinds (RGB and/or CIR) and a variety of resolutions (from 3cm
to 70cm GSD), acquired all over Western and Southern Europe and
West-Africa.
Recent high quality aerial imagery datasets available include
(RGB by default):
- the Netherlands (40.000 km²) at 40cm GSD (2007 & 2005
vintages) in RGB & CIR
- Belgium (30.000 km²) at 40cm GSD (2007)
- all major Dutch urban areas with GSD between 3cm and 20cm
(2007 > 2003)
- most major Belgian urban areas with GSD between 10cm and
20cm (2007 > 2004)
- all major French urban areas incl Ile de France (35.000 km²)
at 12,5cm GSD (2007 & 2006)
- all major Portuguese urban areas (5.000 km²) at 15cm
GSD (2007)
- all major Spanish urban areas (8.000 km²) at 15cm GSD
(2007)
- all major Italian urban areas (8.000 km²) at 15cm GSD
(2007)
- all major Swiss urban areas (1.000 km²) at 15cm GSD
(2007)
- Paris at 12,5cm and 25cm GSD (2005)
- Berlin at 20cm GSD (2005)
- Brussels at 15cm (2007)
- Timbuktu, Mali at 18cm GSD (2006)

can be found at www.aerogrid.nl (currently
in Dutch only), but is also widely used in various on-line applications
that show aerial imagery as part of the information content.

aeroGRID® Pro |
Professionals and business
need more elaborate services, pricing plans and such and aeroGRID® Pro
is there to help them out.
The imagery archives are accessible through an API, enabling
third parties to embed aeroGRID® imagery
into their own websites, and through a WMS connection for use
in GIS and CAD applications.
An advanced browser-based platform with many capabilities tailored
to professional users is slated for release in 2008.
Reproduction (e.g. for publications) and off-line ordering
services complete the aeroGRID® Pro
services.

This simple, but fast browser-based platform for viewing,
buying and downloading aerial imagery is set up to enable easy
navigation, very economical pricing and only 5 steps from start
to finish.
The viewer is fast and uses the latest Flash technology to
ensure an excellent user experience.
